Cape Blanco State Park is off Route 101 north of Port Orford, Oregon. It is the southernmost of Oregon’s lighthouses and is the westernmost point in Oregon.

By 1933, during the Great Depression, 100 properties were being worked in search of gold and gradually wasting away until 1957. Today Sterlingville is overgrown with trees and brush, with not a trace of where it stood, except for the cemetery.

At its peak, Virginia City was a thriving, vibrant metropolis of 25,000 residents. Located about 35 miles southeast of Reno, Nevada. Silver and gold were buried deep beneath the streets, and men and women traveled from around the world to live and work. Miners pulled millions of dollars from shafts and tunnels 3,000 feet beneath the thriving town.

Camp Polk Cemetery, also known as the Hindman Cemetery, was established in the mid-19th century, during a time of significant change in the region. The cemetery is located near the site of Camp Polk, a military outpost established in 1865 to protect settlers and maintain peace among the Native American tribes in the area. The camp played a crucial role during the Indian Wars, as soldiers and settlers alike faced the harsh realities of frontier life.

Bridal Veil was established in the 1880s, finding its roots primarily as a logging town. Boasting abundant timber resources, its population flourished with the construction of the Columbia River Highway in the early 1900s. At its peak, the city housed around 300 residents. However, as the logging industry declined, so too did the community's vitality.

Outside Dayton Oregon is an old pioneer cemetery named Odell Cemetery. Attached to the grounds is a run-down chapel – known as the Ebenezer Chapel. It is supposed to be one of the most haunted places in Oregon.
