An Adventure Awaits at Sweet Creek Falls Near Florence, Oregon!

The Drift Creek Falls Trail descends through the Coast Range Forest to the picturesque Drift Creek Falls and the 240-foot-long suspension bridge. It is one of my top ten hikes in Oregon, and I have done this trail several times.

The Trail of Ten Falls is the main attraction at the park. It is a 7.4-mile loop that allows visitors to see ten different waterfalls. Some are a little detour from the main trail but worth the hike.,

Nestled in the heart of the Cascade Range, Trillium Lake is a breathtaking gem that offers a perfect escape for nature lovers and adventure seekers alike. With its stunning views of Mt. Hood, crystal-clear waters, and lush forests, this serene lake is a must-visit destination.

The Cape Falcon Trail (aka tree root trail) spans approximately 2.6 miles round-trip, making it a perfect option for a half-day hike. The trailhead is conveniently located off Highway 101, just south of Manzanita. The hike is rated as moderate, which means it’s accessible for most fitness levels, but be prepared for some elevation changes along the way.
